Here is the phoenix.
well the first of the 2 illustrations about her I done.
(this one is based on an Adam Hughes tomb raider pic first off.)

All jean grey's fans will notice that the badge does not appear; it's hidden under her arms.
And precisely those last forms the badge of the phoenix.
At the beginning she had the falling arms but that broke a little the picture; it was too rigid then I decided to cross the arms...
.... too boasting. -_-'

then... I raised them still a little; and I gave her this movement of finger .... a little as if she made Chinese shades in fact.

all the character is made with colors inks; the watercolours for the tints and colouring pencil aquarelable for the reinforcements
I also used a very fine feather for the details.
The basic background is a kind of purple spot made with diluted inks. I longer hesitate to post this one like that... but seen that I was under photoshop I added a bottom aluminium tinted in green and some sentences to make "mystical style"

hum.... for the rest...Jean grey always look like a cute girl... I haven't change this point
'just give her a little sexy attitude however.
