Just a Batman painting, no real goal exepted I wanted him a bit sinister and with a dark presence :) that's why I chosen a lil' worm eye view and a lightning behind him :)

P.S: submitted it in the "people" area, just because there's no "comics" section in traditionnal > fanart 0_o

...there is something about the belt that kinda trows me off though... (at least I think that's it...)

Oh there is more than the belt :lol: it's filled with mistakes; but hey it's an old pic, done with oil, and it was one of my very first tries at archieving this kind of result :)

Oh LOL, okay :P Well, for one of your first tries it's really good! Oh, and I saw your other paintings and I think they're absolutly wonderfull, especially your Batwoman! Do you do paid stuff? Becuase your work looks quite professional!

By paid stuff, I think you mean commission, then yes, I do, but not of the type of the batwoman piece actually.

I love this.. it has a presence. It represents the legend and idea that the Batman is an urban myth... like something shadowy someone would remember seeing before it disappeared. I actually like the idea of the illuminated background because it emphasises the fact that you still can't really see him.

Ah vraiment une de mes oeuvres préférées dans cette galerie, déjà repérée sur myspace. Comme déjà dit ailleurs, puissante et majesté sans dégage, avec cette ambiance brumeuse, 'thrill' un je ne sais quoi de gotham city alors meme qu'elle n'apparait pas.
