[é} 22 09 2009 : reviewed tones; and added some stokes here and there. Finally fixed eyes and nose, so now she looks more like she pretends to be , and less than the original model used for this painting (see below) ---------------------------------------------------------
Well.... Katarina is one of my comic character; but the original model for this picture was Kate moss.... that was for a parfume advertising if my memorie is good
Ok so; 1 st attempt in Oil; so some areas are strange coz' hey, I never used them before! so I didn't really knew how to use them.... I started to know how; aproching the end of this product in fact
As I was saying, I use a picture from an advertising. I thought it was a cool picture for a first attempt in oil: Contained High light and 2 angles of view of a same character, with two differents lightning points.... very interesting. However I'm not a big fan of Kate moss face.... so..... I told myself It could be interesting to use that picture to made an illustration for one of MY character !
Material: a4 canvas paper. oils. time of work; started december 2004; finished march 2005; that's all I know ; but, NO I didn't wotk on it all the days, and many many many hours.... oil dry slowlyn so I just painted this one aproximatly once per week !

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
