Some months ago I decided that after nearly 3 years, it was time to do some Oil paintings again; As I don't truly master this media, I was also a bit "rusted" in term of using it
So... yeah I decided to do an other serie of portrait of some models.
A good thing would be to have 3 different type of faces, 3 different style, and 3 different level of difficulties (no that's no video games ! )

For these; I already had someone in mind, the other one is someone I already made a painting of, I just had to find the third one.
Finally It's someone that I know who linked me to the shot that i used for this painting , More or less telling me that she thought Faith kinda looked like some of the girls I use to draw :)
So.... yea I thought it could be cool to start with the kind of "face shape" I use to draw.It would be better to start with something I'm comfortable with.
Also the tatoos could be interesting to paint. I never painted tatoos actually :)

And yeah, like every time ; I contacted the model for approval before the start of the painting, AND AFTER for one last approval once the pic is done ( what i would call "if you think this sucks you can refuse that I submit it on the internet " )

Hope ya like it !

My other models are in this gallery :

-Oil painting on canvas 40 x80 cm (16x32")

While I didn't not took the original photo, This painting is © me . No commercial purpose involved.

damn that's cool. The ink the bling, her beautiful face. There isn't a single square inch of that painting that isn't rich and full of detail. Bloody fucking brilliant, bloody fucking brilliant

Looks the sparkle of the diamonds and the way the chain pulls into her arm.

Tu peux t'abstenir! :(

Encore bravo! ;)
